She\'s the lady who is the vocalist and who covers all the single and album covers of Alice Deejay. Judy was a DJ her self before she joined Alice Deejay. She started DJ\'ing at the age of 17 and had her first paid gig as a DJ when she was 18. Even though her mother wanted Judy to study and become a surgeon, Judy was determined to do what she loved. To be a DJ. She was discovered while she was DJ\'ing a party in NL. Judy believes that through music she can let go of everything and in turn, she wants whoever listens to Alice Deejay to do the same. She has absorbed the fairy-tale energy she felt when she first met the rest of the Alice Deejay on the dancefloor at one of her favorite regular parties in Europe and has never looked back.Judy first hooked up with the rest of the Alice Deejay girls at the Dutch club Roxy in Amsterdam. The music got her in somekind of trance that made Judy feel like Alice In Wonderland. Judy said that they wannted a name that could show that they all were DJ\'s. And combined with her former job, a Club-Jock, the name Alice Deejay was born. They all think they are living in a wonderland because of all the traveling and performing. 2009 New Year Bucharest - Light and Fireworks Show (Revelion 2009 Bucuresti)
An amazing light and fireworks show put up in Bucharest in the Constitutiei Square, few minutes after breaking on through another year, to 2009. Even though it might not seem so grandiose, it is. The lights in the background are huge reflectors posted on the People's House or The Parliament Palace in Bucharest. This here is a fragment towards the end of the outstanding 20 minutes show.

Nepalese King to Live as Commoner
ANCHOR: Nepal's deposed King Gyanendra prepares to leave his palace today to live like a commoner. It's two weeks after the new authorities overthrew the 239 year old monarchy. STORY: Nepal's constituent assembly has given him until Thursday to vacate the Narayanhiti royal palace and move to his private residence. But, Gyanendra said he had no place to go. He was then allowed by the authorities to live in Nagarjun palace, a complex of about a dozen tin-roofed concrete huts but nothing compared to the luxurious main palace in Kathmandu. Gyanendra used the complex as a summer and hunting retreat in the past. Officials say Gyanendra is expected to hand a crown studded with diamonds and rubies as well as the ceremonial sceptre to a government team preparing an inventory of the property and valuables before he leaves Narayanhiti palace. The palace was the scene of the 2001 massacre of then King Birendra and most other members of the royal family. Gyanendra was then vaulted to the throne. But, he became unpopular after he seized absolute power in 2005, only to be humbled by weeks of street protests a year later. Many Nepalis are unhappy about Gyanendra's move to Nagarjun palace, the ownership of which was taken over by the government last year. Abolishing the monarchy was a key condition in the 2006 peace deal with Maoist rebels, who fought a decade-long war in which more than 13,000 people were killed. Authorities say Gyanendra will get 50 police and 25 soldiers as security staff after moving out of the palace.
